Equality Objectives Statement

   At Holy Trinity we serve a rich and diverse community. Through our values and ethos, we aim  to be inclusive at all times. As a school community we have identified the following objectives to build on the good work we already do in tackling inequality.

• To reduce prejudice and increase understanding of equality through direct teaching across the curriculum. With particular regard to those protected groups that may potentially be discriminated against (Religious beliefs outside of Islam/Christianity, sexual orientation).

• To offer appropriate learn English groups for parents in all vulnerable groups to enable them to play a more confident role both within and outside of school.

• To implement effective strategies to support pupils in all vulnerable groups to better access the curriculum.

• To improve the quality of support for pupils in all vulnerable groups in the classroom in the context of diminished resources and increased need.
