Support for Families

At Holy Trinity CE Primary School, we understand that every family may need a little extra support from time to time. Whether you have concerns about your child's wellbeing, behaviour, attendance, emotional health or family circumstances, we are here to help.

Our safeguarding team works closely with families and a range of local services to ensure that children receive the right support at the right time. If we cannot provide the support directly, we will help you access the most appropriate service.

If you are worried about your child or your family situation, please don't struggle alone. Speaking to us early often means that we can provide support before problems become more difficult to manage.

If you would like to discuss any concerns, please contact a member of our safeguarding team. All conversations will be treated sensitively and respectfully.

For families who would benefit from additional pastoral support, Paula Nield, our Pastoral Lead, works closely with children and families to provide emotional support, guidance and practical help both in school and through referrals to other services where appropriate.

If your concern relates to your child's Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), you are welcome to speak to our SENDCO, Clare Fisher, who will be happy to discuss your child's needs and the support available.

Early Help

Early Help is support provided to children, young people and families as soon as difficulties begin to emerge. It aims to prevent problems from becoming more serious by offering practical advice and support at the earliest opportunity.

Early Help can provide support with:

  • Parenting and family relationships
  • Children's behaviour
  • Emotional health and wellbeing
  • School attendance
  • Housing or financial difficulties
  • Domestic abuse
  • Bereavement and family change

If you think your family could benefit from Early Help, please speak to a member of our safeguarding team.
