At Holy Trinity CE Primary School, our Christian vision shapes everything we do. Rooted in the words of Micah 6:8:

We are confidently Christian but respectful of our diverse community. Our vision is to be one school family, at the heart of the community, looking out to the world with aspiration and integrity, empowering each other to become motivated learners and loving neighbours.
Our mission is:
To inspire our school family to strive for greatness whilst remaining humble and kind. Through a curriculum rich in vocabulary and experience, we will educate and nurture children to be curious, confident and happy, with the courage to challenge injustice wherever they see it.
These words are more than statements on a page, they guide the decisions we make, the relationships we build and the opportunities we provide for every child. We want every member of our school community to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Our Christian Values
Our school values of Family, Respect, Encouragement, Excellence, Trust and Fairness are at the heart of school life. They are explored through collective worship, celebrated in our classrooms and reflected in the relationships we build with one another every day.
We encourage our children to think about how these values can guide their choices and help them become responsible, caring members of society.
A School for Everyone
Although we are proud to be a Church of England school, we warmly welcome children and families of all faiths and none.
Our school community reflects a rich diversity of cultures, faiths and backgrounds. We celebrate this diversity and believe that learning about different beliefs helps children develop understanding, respect and appreciation for others. Every child is valued, respected and encouraged to be themselves.
Our Partnership with Holy Trinity Church
We enjoy a close relationship with Holy Trinity Church, which is an important part of our school community.
Children take part in regular church services and special celebrations throughout the year, including Harvest, Christmas, Easter and our Year 6 Leavers' Service. Members of the church also support the life of the school through collective worship, visits and community events.
These experiences help children explore their own beliefs and reflecting on their own values and understanding of the world.
Religious Education
Religious Education is a valued part of our curriculum and reflects our commitment to helping children understand faith, belief and the diverse world in which they live. Our curriculum enables children to explore Christianity alongside a range of other world religions and worldviews, including Islam, Hinduism and Judaism. Through discussion, enquiry and reflection, children develop knowledge, respect and understanding of different beliefs while being encouraged to ask thoughtful questions and explore their own ideas.

Learning Beyond the Classroom
Children's understanding of faith and culture extends beyond the classroom through a wide range of enrichment opportunities. Throughout their time at Holy Trinity, children have opportunities to visit places of worship, welcome visitors from different faith communities and take part in experiences that deepen their understanding of the beliefs, traditions and cultures that make up modern Britain.
These experiences encourage children to celebrate diversity, challenge stereotypes and develop the knowledge, confidence and respect needed to live well alongside people of all faiths and none.
Spiritual Development
We believe that every child should have opportunities to wonder, reflect and ask life's big questions.
Through collective worship, Religious Education, the wider curriculum and everyday experiences, we encourage children to think deeply about themselves, their relationships with others and the world around them. We provide opportunities for children to reflect, develop their own beliefs and values, and grow spiritually in an environment where everyone is respected.
Our aim is to develop confident, compassionate young people who show curiosity, resilience and a desire to make a positive difference in the world.

As a Church of England school, we are inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) framework. SIAMS considers how effectively our Christian vision shapes the life of the school and enables all members of our community to flourish.
