Sports Premium
The school receives extra funding to help support pupils achievement and participation in sport. At the school we focus this funding on bringing in skilled coaches to work alongside teachers and by ensuring that participation in sports activities is free to all pupils. There is also a Gymnastic Club (Wednesday) and a Multi Sports club (Friday) that are provided free of change thanks to our sports finding.
We also recognise that diet is an important factor in staying healthy. In order to support our children in making healthy choices, we buy in a catering professional who works with children from Nursery to Year 6. She helps the children to understand how their food is made and how to achieve a healthy balanced diet.
