Lowry Art Gallery
Year 2 enjoyed a trip to the Lowry Art Gallery in Salford. There they had the opportunity to use the paintings of Lowry as inspiration to investigate a variety of drama techniques. Working in groups, the children participated in a variety of warm up games before spending time in the gallery observing Lowry's key paintings. They enjoyed engaging with the paintings by exploring the narrative and character's lives before bringing them to life in a truly magical drama session!
