Kids that Rock!

In January 2022, we welcomed ‘Kids that Rock’ into our school for a very exciting music day.

Key Stages 1 and 2 children explored guitars and boomwhackers, as well as practicing their vocal ranges and patterning skills. The children learnt to play along to modern pop as well as classic rock music. Staff even had the opportunity to join in!

Our youngest children in nursery and reception all had a very exciting time playing their own harmonica and observing the features of a guitar before listening to Matt, the facilitator, play some tunes. WOW!

Each and every one of us had a fantastic day and enjoyed developing our love of music. It was so much fun … some of us now want to go and buy a guitar to continue our love of playing at home!
